PURPOSE: A method for controlling an image transmission device is provided to send/receive corresponding signal without deterioration of picture. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling an image transmission device comprises: a step of increasing per-pixel data bit number of first image signal in case of corresponding to three-dimensional image(S100,S110); a step of combining each pixel of a left eye image and a right eye image into one pixel based on set data bit location(S120); a step of converting the first image signal into second signal(S130); and a step of outputting the second image signal to an image receiving device(S140).
