PURPOSE: A method for routing a packet in a sensor network is provided to transmit data and an ACK packet through a route which minimizes opportunity costs. CONSTITUTION: A first node calculates second opportunity transmission costs using a second expected average packet transmission frequency and a second expected transmission hop number. The first node transmits a data packet to a second node with minimum second opportunity transmission costs wherein the second node is from neighbor nodes of the first node. The first node selects a source node(10) as a temporary destination node. The first node calculates third opportunity transmission costs about the neighbor nodes of the first node. The first node transmits a receiving confirmation packet to a third node with a minimum third opportunity transmission costs. |
