ANTENNA DEVICE AND RADIO COMMUNICATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small-sized antenna device being capable of controlling directivity two-dimensionally and a radio communication device mounting the antenna device.

SOLUTION: A provided antenna device comprises: an approximately rectangular patch antenna; a plurality of parasitic elements severally arranged around each side of the patch antenna ; and switching means for switching an electric length of each of the parasitic element, where the switching means can switch the electric length so that the parasitic element functions as a reflector. A radio communication device mounting the antenna device is also provided.
