<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment agent which exhibits excellent flocculation effects to various kinds of wastewater, is easy to handle, reduces the amount of chemical agents to be added, and can reduce treatment costs. <P>SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment agent comprises a water-soluble polymer which has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.01-4.0, contains a dialkylamino alkyl methacrylate methyl chloride quaternary salt as a main component, and does not contain (meth)acrylamide and an iron or aluminum-based inorganic flocculant. The blending ratio in weight between the water-soluble polymer and the inorganic flocculant is 0.05/100-10/100 in the wastewater treatment agent. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
