<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of obtaining high detecting accuracy of a toner concentration and favorable images without decreasing productivity of the device. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming device includes transfer means 600 adapted to transfer a toner image transferred on an intermediate transfer body 10 to a recording medium by applying transfer bias and transfer a toner pattern for density adjustment formed on a part between sheets of paper on the intermediate transfer body to a surface 24a of a secondary transfer body 24, detection means 310 adapted to detect a concentration of the toner pattern, and control means 500 adapted to determine a transfer between sheets of paper-bias condition Tp on the part between sheets of paper when transferring the toner pattern to the secondary transfer body in accordance with a bias condition applied on the recording medium P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
