<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound signal synthesizing method, a program and a musical sound signal synthesizer capable of creating pseudo-instrumental sound expressing characteristics of sound emitted by a musical instrument of a three-dimensional structure having chords and a main body, in a realistic way. <P>SOLUTION: The musical sound signal synthesizing method performs a chord model calculation to compute the n-th order derivative concerning displacement of a characteristic vibration mode of each chord on the mode coordinate or the time of the displacement as well as the force exerted by the chord against a chord support end, on the basis of a first motion equation expressing vibration of the chord with the use of the force exerted against the chord calculated on the basis of performance information and the n-th order derivative concerning displacement of the chord support end or the time of the displacement. Furthermore, the method performs a main body model calculation to compute the n-th order derivative concerning displacement of a characteristic vibration mode of the main body on the mode coordinate or the time of the displacement and the n-th order derivative concerning displacement of the chord support end or the time of the displacement, on the basis of a second motion equation expressing vibration of the main body with the use of the force exerted by the chord against the chord support end. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
