<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flexure for a disk device, which is able to simplify wire structure. <P>SOLUTION: A flexure 21 comprises a metal base 23 and a wire part 24. The wire part 24 comprises an insulation layer 50, a conductor group 51, and so on. A tongue part 26 is formed on the main part 23a of the metal base 23. A slider 11 with an additional electronic unit 30 is attached to the tongue part 26. The conductor group 51 comprises a plurality of conductors 52 electrically connected to the slider 11, and conductors 53 and 54 electrically connected to the additional electronic unit 30. Island-shaped electrical paths 23b and 23c are formed on the metal base 23. The electrical parts 23b and 23c are electrically independent of the main part 23a of the metal base 23. The conductors 53 and 54 of the additional electronic unit 30 conduct to the electrical paths 23b and 23c via conductor couplers 66 and 67 penetrating through the insulation layer 50.
