<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic disk drive which minimizes a deviation of a bit position between adjacent tracks, a signal processing circuit, and a signal processing method. <P>SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit which processes a signal read out of a magnetic disk to which a servo area including a servo address mark and a user data area including data sectors are formed includes counter means and gate control means. The counter means counts a first clock when the servo address mark is detected based upon the signal read out of the magnetic disk. The gate control means generates positioning pulses for the data sectors in synchronism with a second clock when the counter means counts up to a first predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
