<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ship an alarm unit in a state in which a battery is connected on a maker side so as to eliminate a need to set or replace a battery by a user, and to start a monitoring operation through an easy operation when the alarm unit is installed. <P>SOLUTION: The alarm unit includes a sensor part which has a battery 28 for supplying operation electric power incorporated and fixed in a housing body, and detects a fire, and an inspection switch 52 for confirming an alarming operation. A CPU 36 functions as a supervisory control part 62 which outputs an alarm on determining a fire from a detection signal of the sensor part, and confirms the alarming operation in response to an operation signal from the inspection switch 52. A mode setting part 64 of the CPU 36 sets a low-power-consumption mode in a state of electric power supply from the battery 28 at the time of shipment, and changes the mode to a supervisory mode when the predetermined operation signal by the inspection switch 52 is determined in the set low-power-consumption mode at the time of installation or when an alarm transfer interlocking signal from another externally connected alarm unit is received. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
