<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool using multi-spindle heads, with which equipment can be made compact and simplified. <P>SOLUTION: The machining tool 16 performs machining by the multi-spindle heads 14 formed putting together a plurality of tools T, and is provided with: power mechanisms 42 connected to the multi-spindle heads 14 and transmitting the power to the respective tools T; rails 40a, 40b suspending and supporting the plurality of the multi-spindle heads 14; index mechanisms 24 turnably supporting the plurality of the multi-spindle heads 14 suspended and supported by the rails 40a, 40b along the rails 40a, 40b, and indexing an optional multi-spindle head 14 in relation to the power mechanisms 42; and exchange spaces 25 provided at places facing the rails 40a, 40b, and wherein carriages 20 loading attaching/detaching mechanisms 36 for attaching/detaching the multi-spindle heads 14 to/from the rails 40a, 40b are connected and arranged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
