<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of stabilizing communication between a memory module and a memory controller while suppressing a cost for loading a register chip. <P>SOLUTION: A server device comprises a shared register storing an instruction for multiple memory modules. A memory controller stores the instruction for the multiple memory modules in the shared register.
