The cylinder (1) has a piston (3) that is arranged axially in cylindrical housing (2). A piston rod (8) is positioned axially in hydraulic fluid-filled pressure chamber (7) which is moved by force acting on piston rod. Sealing elements (4,5) are provided in housing and piston is arranged spatially. The sealing element in piston is connected with sealing element in housing. The piston is provided with base (3a) which is surrounded by casing (3b) made of thermosetting polymer. The base is made of plastic such as glass filled polyamide-66 (PA66GF35).
