<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a structure to inhibit the occurrence of a defects such as sink, warpage or short shot in a cage 10c having protruded portions 17b, 17b on both sides of column portions 15c, 15c, when formed by injection molding a synthetic resin. <P>SOLUTION: The cage 10c is such a split type cage that cage elements 18, 18 each having an element rim portion 19 and one column portion 15c having one end joined to the outer peripheral face of the element rim portion 19 and the other end as a free end not joined to the other portion are joined together in the circumferential direction.
