<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a center alignment jig capable of rapidly and precisely performing, in one lump, operations which start at measurement and end at marking, which are intended for center alignment and besides accurately marking a reference line required for operating and assembling. <P>SOLUTION: The center alignment jig includes a fixing leg 2 with contact portions contacting an outer surface of a tubular or angled member in at least two points or more. The fixing leg 2 is mounted on a casing 3 to locate the whole of the casing 3 on the tubular or angled outer member by the fixing leg 2. The casing 3 incorporates a level 4 for indicating a horizontal situation to the tubular or angled member and besides a center line indicating means for indicating a center line extending over a longitudinal direction of the tubular or angled member. Besides, the casing 3 is provided with a marking-off unit 7 movable back and forth or up and down. The marking-off unit 7 contacts an outer circumferential surface of the tubular or angled member and thereby marks a center position.
