<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load of image processing and reduce memory usage. <P>SOLUTION: An image processor of one embodiment includes creation means, high-resolution image creation means, separation means, generation means, and composition means. The creation means reduces an input image to create a low-resolution image. The high-resolution image creation means creates, from the input image, a high-resolution image having a higher resolution than that of the input image. The separation means separates the low-resolution image created by the creation means into texture component and frame component images. The generation means generates a texture component from the texture component and frame component images separated by the separation means.
