摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase accuracy of a cam angle signal/crank angle signal by a frequency multiplying clock output means, and to increase versatility of a pulse generation pattern. <P>SOLUTION: An engine control device includes: a means for calculating a crank angle frequency multiplying clock by equally dividing a time interval between pulses by a predetermined value from a crank angle detection means, generating a crank angle counter for counting-up for each clock period, and initializing the crank angle counter when a pulse indicating a toothless part arrives from the crank angle detection means; a means for calculating a cam frequency multiplying clock by equally dividing a time interval between pulses by the predetermined value for each pulse arrival from the cam angle detection means, generating a cam angle counter for counting-up for each period, and initializing the cam angle counter when a pulse indicating the toothless part arrives from the cam angle detection means; and a means for inhibiting or stopping engine control using the crank angle counter when it is determined that the crank angle signal is abnormal and performing the engine control using the cam angle counter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
