<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal, a system and a method capable of performing a stride correction in order to dissolve the accumulation of a measurement error in a mobile terminal having an autonomous navigation function. <P>SOLUTION: One aspect of the present invention concerns a mobile terminal having an autonomous navigation function, the mobile terminal including: a map application part for calculating a real distance between the current position of the mobile terminal acquired on a route from a departure place to a destination of a user of the mobile terminal in map information and a reference point; a measurement part for detecting a movement of the mobile terminal and providing sensor information showing the number of strides and the direction of travel of the user; a position calculation part for estimating the amount of travel from the reference point of the mobile terminal based on the number of strides and the direction of travel of the user acquired from the sensor information and the currently set length of the stride of the user and estimating the current position of the mobile terminal based on the estimated amount of travel; and a stride estimation part for calculating an error between the calculated real distance and the estimated amount of travel and correcting the length of the stride of the user based on the calculated error. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
