<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reinforcing steel cutter configured to maintain sure holding of reinforcing steel without lowering workability. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcing steel holding mechanism 10 used in the reinforcing steel cutter cutting an end face of the reinforcing steel T at right angles includes a base 11 with a receiving part 11A covering an outer peripheral surface of the reinforcing steel almost semi-circularly, a press regulation screw 12 having a pressing surface 12A retractable relative to the reinforcing steel T loaded into the receiving part 11A on its axial one end, a slider 13 with the press regulation screw 12 inserted into it and slidable toward the reinforcing steel T, and a guide member 14 with the slider 13 inserted into it and disposed on the base 11. A return elastic body 15 and a pressing elastic body 16 are respectively disposed on one and the another sides of the slider 13 in its sliding direction, and the pressing surface 12A of the press regulation screw 12 is pressed on the reinforcing steel T to hold it with the pressing force of the pressing elastic body 16 in a state that the pressing surface 12A of the press regulation screw 12 is brought into abutment on the reinforcing steel T. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
