<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing short circuit between terminal fittings due to contamination of foreign matters. <P>SOLUTION: A connector C prevents a terminal fitting housed in a housing 10 from a rear part from being detached by a retainer 20. A retainer mounting part 14 for mounting the retainer 20 is opened outside the housing 10, and a plurality of cavities 11 for housing the terminal fitting are provided and parted by a partition wall 12. A portion of the partition wall 12 contacting the retainer mounting part 14 is a notch part 16 notched in a mounting direction of the retainer 20, and the retainer 20 is provided with a wall constitution part 23 fitted with the notch part 16 and constituting one part of the partition wall 12. A rib 30 for a wall to fill a gap in a forward and backward direction between the wall constitution part 23 and the partition wall 12 in contact with the other of the wall constitution part 23 and the partition wall 12 projects on one surface opposed to a forward and backward direction of the wall constitution part 23 and the partition wall 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
