<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hermetic compressor that improves the workability of assembling and also improves the efficiency by reducing a slide loss. <P>SOLUTION: The hermetic compressor includes a shaft and a piston, which are driven by an electric element, and which are connected with a connecting rod and a ball joint structure. The ball joint structure has an internal spherical face formed at the piston, a spherical body arranged at the connecting rod, and a rotation regulation member. The rotation regulation member has an elastic part which holds the rotation regulation member by an elastic force, a rotation regulation part which regulates relative rotation between the piston and the connecting rod and abuts on a single side of a flat face which is formed so as to be parallel with both sides of the spherical body at the relative rotation. The elastic body has an extension which extends toward the internal spherical face and abuts on the internal spherical face at its end, and suppresses the elastic force for holding the rotation regulation part by applying a load to the center direction of the piston at the extension. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
