The present invention relates to a power light-emitting diode (LED) lighting device using carbonic aluminum composites. Particularly, in previously known power LED lighting devices, an installation hole for a heat radiation rod is defined in the position in which an LED is disposed on a body. A heat radiation rod formed of carbonic aluminum composites is inserted and fixed to the installation hole of the body. One sectional surface of the heat radiation rod passes through the installation hole to contact the substrate of an LED module. Thus, thermal efficiency of the lighting device may be significantly improved, and not only may the overall volume of the lighting device be significantly reduced so as to be lightweight, but the manufacturing costs of products may be significantly reduced as well. Also, when heat radiation is performed using the heat radiation rod consisting of the carbonic aluminum composites, the heat radiation effect may be about two to three times greater than that of aluminum for the same volume. Thus, the LED lighting device may be produced using the main body of a conventional discharge-lamp lighting device as-is. Therefore, the unnecessary waste of raw materials may be prevented. Also, even though the body is formed using a synthetic resin through injection molding, heat generated in the LED may be sufficiently radiated through a plurality of heat radiation rods formed of carbonic aluminum composites, thereby producing a lightweight and inexpensive power LED lighting and achieving diversity of design. |
