<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide light irradiation molding equipment which can mold thermoplastic resin with high dimensional precision while reducing the deterioration of the thermoplastic resin even in a case that a large-sized molded product having a complicated shape is molded and the thermoplastic resin with high melting temperature is molded, dispensing with a device for preliminarily melting the thermoplastic resin to inject the same in a cavity and can mold a molded product using a small amount of the thermoplastic resin, and a light irradiation molding method. <P>SOLUTION: The light irradiation molding equipment 1 includes a pair of rubber mold parts 2A and 2B having properties permitting light X to transmit and a light irradiation means 4 for irradiating the granular thermoplastic resin 6A arranged in the cavity 20 with light X from the surfaces of a pair of the rubber mold parts 2A and 2B. The light irradiation molding equipment 1 is constituted to successively move a pair of the rubber mold parts 2A and 2B and the light irradiation means 4 relatively so that the light X emitted from the light irradiation means 4 arrives at a region where the thermoplastic resin 6A is not melted from a region where the thermoplastic resin 6A is melted to successively melt the respective regions of the thermoplastic resin 6A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
