<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclopentadithiophene derivative dominant as a conductive material, which is produced from an easily available starting material, and can be stably obtained in high yield while reducing the number of reaction steps. <P>SOLUTION: The cyclopentadithiophene derivative is represented by chemical formula (1), wherein R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>each independently represents a hydrogen atom, 1-20C hydrocarbon group which may have substituent or 1-20C alkoxy which may have substituent, excluding the case where R<SP POS="POST">1</SP>and R<SP POS="POST">4</SP>are simultaneously hydrogen atoms. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
