<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an actuator which reduces resistance caused when a moving member slides on a driving shaft and allows the moving member to slide smoothly without performing finishing processing on the moving member or the like. <P>SOLUTION: An actuator includes a piezoelectric element 2 which is an electromechanical conversion element, a square pole like driving shaft 3, a moving member 5 sliding on an exterior wall of the driving shaft 3, and a holding member 4 holding the driving shaft 3. The moving member 5 includes a first sliding part 62 sliding on a first exterior wall 31 of the driving shaft 3, and a second sliding member 63 sliding on a second exterior wall 32 of the driving shaft 3.
