<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device using a dihedral corner reflector array optical element which makes an aerial image easier to view. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes a dihedral corner reflector array optical element where a plurality of dihedral corner reflectors each including two mirror surfaces orthogonal to each other are arranged so that the mirror surfaces are planes perpendicular to a base, and an observation target disposed in a space on the side of one principal surface of the base and forms a real image of the observation target in a space on the side of the other principal surface of the base. The dihedral corner reflector array optical element includes a plurality of projections which are made of a transparent material together with the base and project from a junction plane within one principal surface, and at least two side surfaces orthogonal to each other are formed on each of the projections as dihedral corner reflectors.
