The machine has a grinding wheel rotatably supported at a grinding wheel head around a spindle axle in a support, where the spindle axle is extended parallel to a rotor axle. A magazine is provided for the wheel and a grinding wheel changer. The wheel comprises a coupling piece (17) at a front side of the wheel. The coupling piece cooperates with a corresponding counter piece in the support at the wheel head and a magazine carrier. The grinding wheel comprises another coupling piece that cooperates with a support at the changer, at another front side of the wheel.
