<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair type massage machine performing a massage course by skipping stress determination. <P>SOLUTION: The chair type massage machine includes massage means 20, 22 and 24 for massaging the lesion of a person to be treated, a control means 50 for controlling the massage means, and a heart rate detection section 70 electrically connected to the control means and for detecting the heart rate and/or heart rate waveform of the person to be treated and transmitting it to the control means, wherein the control means determines the stress of the person to be treated on the basis of the heart rate and/or heart rate waveform detected by the heart rate detection section and controls the massage means. In the chair type massage machine, when the heart rate and/or heart rate waveform cannot be detected for the predetermined period of time from the heart rate detection section, the control means skips the detection of the heart rate and/or heart rate waveform and controls the massage means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
