PURPOSE: A screening method for agent for preventing obesity using transgenic drosphila melanogaster expressing human neuropeptide Y 1 receptor is provided to create transgenic drosphila melanogaster expressing human neuropeptide Y 1 receptor. CONSTITUTION: A screening method for agent for preventing obesity comprises: a step of measuring the feeding behavior change or the weight change of a transgenic drosphila melanogaster expressing neuropeptide Y 1 receptor(NPY1R) drosphila melanogaster as an experimental group; a step of sorting examining object material the feeding behavior or the weight is reduced by comparing with a non-treated control group. The NPY1R gene has a base sequence recording to a sequence number 1. The phosphorylation of ERK(Extracellular signal-regulated kinases) of the transgenic drosphila melanogaster expressing NPY1R is increased comparing with a normal control group.
