摘要 PURPOSE: A device and method for measuring a clad thickness are provided to measure a thickness of a remained clad of a clad steel plate rapidly and easily using a non-destructive method and to enhance reproducibility by using a measuring method based on a portable computer. CONSTITUTION: A device for measuring a clad thickness comprises a thickness sensing unit, an analog-digital converting unit(200), and a computer terminal(300). The thickness sensing unit forms a closed magnetic circuit by being closely adhered to a surface of a test body composed of a base material(11) and clad(12) and senses an induced voltage value generated by a change of magnetic flux density of the closed magnetic circuit according to the thickness of the clad. The analog-digital converting unit converts the induced voltage value of the thickness sensing unit into digital signals. The computer terminal displays the thickness of the clad by comparing digital signals input by the analog-digital converting unit and thickness information of the clad according to a digital signal value set in advance.
