PURPOSE: A three-dimensional image display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve resolution by displaying brightness average data on all lines of a display panel. CONSTITUTION: First left-eye average data has an average value of second left-eye image data and first left-eye image data. The first left-eye image data is arranged on a first line of a three-dimensional image. The second left-eye image data is arranged on a third line of the three-dimensional image. First right-eye average data has an average value of first right-eye image data and second right-eye image data. The first right-eye image data is arranged on a second line of the three-dimensional image. The second right-eye image data is arranged on a fourth line of the three-dimensional image. Second left-eye average data has an average value of fourth left-eye image data and third left-eye image data. Second right-eye average data has an average value of fourth right-eye image data and third right-eye image data.
