<p>An immersed element cordless water heating device consists of a heating element 21, integrated control 80 and only four or five moulded components. The moulded parts being a lid 60, body 30, switch actuator 70, base 50 and a back part with handle (49, figure 5c). The body may also include a removable cover portion (48, figure 3e) attached to the control by at least one screw, said screw also attaching the control to the element. A control assembly including bimetal and melting fuse protection is described. A heating element characterised by the position of the hot return portion, a safety switch and a method of manufacture are also described.</p> |
