ADHESIVE COMPOSITION FOR A BACKLIGHT UNIT, A BACKLIGHT UNIT AND A LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

PURPOSE: An adhesive composition for a backlight unit, a backlight unit, and a liquid crystal display are provided to prevent color coordination distortion during solidification, thereby preventing generation of white turbidity and yellowing even under sever conditions. CONSTITUTION: An adhesive composition for backlight units comprises acrylic resin, polyfunctional cross-linking agent, and an antioxidant and satisfies conditions in chemical formula 1: ΔB = |Bi - Bl|/|Bi|× 100 <= 3.5 %. In the chemical formula 1, Bi indicates initial color coordination b* value which is measured by using an L*a*b* color-difference meter right after manufacturing samples. Bl indicates color coordinate b* value which is measured by using the L*a*b* color-difference meter after leaving the samples at 80 deg. Celsius and under constant temperature and humidity condition of 90% RH for 24 hours.
