A dormer assembly for use in a building structure comprises a framework 30 and a covering 16 on at least part of the framework to provide an external surface portion of the assembly, wherein the framework and covering are secured together in spaced relationship to one another by a foamed plastics material 34 there between. The foamed plastics may provide an insulation layer over the entire interior surface of the covering and may be a spray applied expanding foam. The covering may be a plastic material, especially glass reinforced plastics or grp. The framework may be of wood or timber. |
