PURPOSE: A shift control device of a vehicle is provided to control not only transmission loaded to the vehicle but also other devices according to operation will of an operation by detecting successive operation will of the operator. CONSTITUTION: A gearshift(3) is installed which can be straightly slid and rotated according to a main shaft. A gate plate(7) restricts a movement route of the gearshift so that the gearshift straightly slides and rotates while moving there and back on a single route. The gate plate comprises a gate pattern(5). A plurality of shift ranges is arranged on the single route in a row. The gate pattern of the gate plate is composed of a first section, a second section, and a connection section. The rest shift ranges except for a specific shift range among the plurality of shift ranges are arranged on the first section. The specific shift range is formed on the second section. The connection section connects the first section and the second section to be tilted.
