PURPOSE: A novel Lactobacillus plantarum CLP-1 strain and a probiotic containing the same are provided to ensure excellent antiviral and antibacterial function. CONSTITUTION: A Lactobacillus plantarum CLP-1 strain(deposit number KACC91591P) has antiviral and antibacterial function. The stain has 16S rRNA base sequence of sequence number 1 and has negative availability to galactose, esculin, melibiose, and gentibiose. A probiotic contains the strain or culture liquid thereof as an active ingredient. A feed additive contains the strain or culture liquid thereof as an active ingredient.
