<p>PURPOSE: A data modification device is provided to set a default offset in a chunk offset box, thereby changing data without amending all off set in the chunk offset box by the change of the default offset. CONSTITUTION: A data modification method comprises: a step(610) of set a default offset in a chunk offset box recording the location of a chunk in a default offset box in file with ISO based file format; and a step(620) of changing respective chunk offset value by only the change of basic offset value in case the location of the chunk is changed in modification like the addition/deletion of the data. The chunk is able to be at least one or more data groups in a plurality of media information in the file.</p> |
