PURPOSE: A pneumatic tire is provided to improve steering stability, a wet grip performance, and the strength balance or a tread pattern through determining peripheral direction pitch and peripheral direction length. CONSTITUTION: A pneumatic tire is composed as follows. A tread portion is divided into a crown rib(5), a middle rib(6), and a shoulder rib(7). A plurality of shoulder horizontal grooves(10) is formed in the shoulder rib. The plurality of shoulder horizontal grooves is arranged in the peripheral direction of a tire with the peripheral direction pitch(Ps). A plurality of middle taper grooves(12) is formed in the middle rib and arranged in the peripheral direction of a tire with the peripheral direction pitch(Pm). A plurality of crown horizontal groove(16) is formed in the crown rib. A plurality of crown horizontal grooves crosses through the crown rib and arranged in the peripheral direction of a tire with the peripheral direction pitch(Pc). |
