PURPOSE: A face authentication system and a method thereof are provided to rapidly offer a vehicle system set by a user. CONSTITUTION: A face authentication unit(105) compares photographed operator's face with a user image or image feature quantity saved in a memory unit(103). In case an error occurs in the authentication of the face authentication unit, a control unit(107) registers the operator's face as the user image or image feature quantity about a first user ID based on a signal inputted through the user input unit(109). |
