A method for controlling a stroke of a washing machine is provided to remove various bacteria remaining in clothes and elevate reliability of the product by operating the anti-bacteria course. A method of controlling a stroke of a washing machine is composed of: a step(S10) of judging whether or not a user selects an anti-bacteria course or a normal course as a washing course status; a step(S20) of operating the washing course with the washing course time of a first set time and a washing water temperature of a first set temperature if the anti- bacteria course is chosen; and a step(S30) of operating the washing course with the washing course time of a second set time and a washing water temperature of a second set temperature if the normal course is chosen. |
