A laundry information introducing method using an avatar for a laundry device is provided to effectively deliver the laundry information without a brochure by allowing an avatar to explain. In controlling a laundry device with a display unit indicating the laundry information, a laundry information introducing method using an avatar for a laundry device comprises: a step of choosing an avatar image according to a kind of the laundry information; and a step of explaining the information of a chosen menu by showing the chosen avatar on the screen when a user chooses a menu which the user wants to know, after going to a laundry information explanation mode. The avatar displayed on the screen has a shape and a movement representing the chosen menu. The display of the avatar explaining the laundry information goes side by side with the sound and letters. |
