摘要 PURPOSE: A proximity sensor for a surgery robot and an operation method thereof are provided to prevent a collision between devices or with a human body. CONSTITUTION: A proximity sensor for a surgery robot comprises an inner wall(133), a piezoelectric polymer film(132), and an outer wall(131). The inner wall is formed into a round structure. The inner was comprises a cavity inside the round structure. The piezoelectric polymer film is placed outside the inner wall. The piezoelectric polymer film generates ultrasonic signals, and detects the ultrasonic signals. The outer wall is placed outside the piezoelectric polymer film. The outer wall transmits the ultrasonic signals through an open window.
