PURPOSE: A light emitting device using a piezoelectric transducer is provided to continuously emit light from an LED by repeatedly hitting the piezoelectric transducer through a spring hammer. CONSTITUTION: A head unit(10) comprises a semispherical rubber cap(16) with a hollow unit and a cylindrical connector(18). A coil spring(22) is arranged in the wall of the semispherical rubber cap. A hammer(24) is installed in a free end of the coil spring. A piezoelectric transducer(30) generates power by colliding with the hammer and includes a metal diaphragm(26) and a piezoelectric element(28). |
