PURPOSE: An AVN(Audio Video Navigation) system guiding a route by accumulating traffic information and guiding method are provided to search and guide an efficient route by not using server data when searching a route. CONSTITUTION: An AVN system guiding a route comprises a real-time traffic information receiver(110), an accumulation traffic information storage(130), and a route search unit(120). The real-time traffic information receiver receives real-time traffic information. The accumulation traffic information autonomously accumulates and storages traffic information by operating a vehicle. If a current location is within a first radius from a starting location, the route search unit searches by using the real-time traffic information received from the starting location. If the current location is further over a second radius, the route search unit searches by using the accumulation traffic information. |
