PURPOSE: A water purifying apparatus equipped with a regenerable sterilizing filter is provided to improve the reliability of the apparatus by previously eliminating factors causing the pollution of a sealed surge tank. CONSTITUTION: A water purifying apparatus includes a water purifying unit(10), a sterilizing filter(20), a regenerating unit(30), a surge tank(40), and a controlling unit(50). The water purifying unit filters feed water to be purified. The sterilizing filter is in connection with the water purifying unit through a filter water purifying line(L1). The sterilizing filter includes N-halamine. The sterilizing filter sterilizes purified water through the water purifying unit. The surge tank is in connection with the sterilizing filter through a second water purifying line(L2). The urge tank stores treated purified water through the sterilizing filter. The regenerating unit is in connection with the sterilizing filter and supplies regenerating materials to the sterilizing filter to be regenerated. The controlling unit controls the water purifying mode of feed water and the regenerating mode of the sterilizing filter. |
