PURPOSE: The scum eliminating apparatus of a water treating facility is provided to save costs required for maintenance and repair by cost-effectively forming a tube type skimmer and replacing the skimmer. CONSTITUTION: A scum eliminating apparatus includes a tube type skimmer(110), a skimmer operating unit, and a scum collecting container(140). A plurality of floated elements is serially arranged in a hollow tube type water-proof cover(111) and floats. One end part of the tube type skimmer is fixed to one edge of a treating bath. The skimmer operating unit moves another end part of the tube type skimmer along the upper edge of the treating bath. The scum collecting container is installed in the treating bath in order to collect scum. The upper part of the scum collecting container is arranged under the surface of water in the treating bath. Another end part of the tube type skimmer moves along the edge of the treating bath by the skimmer operating unit. The tube type skimmer collects and eliminates scum floated on the surface of water. |
