<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress an increase in power consumption in compensating for a nonlinear distortion. <P>SOLUTION: A first operation section 11 performs a power series operation on a signal to be processed, with respect to orders of terms generated by the power series operation on the signal to be processed whose operation result is equal to or lower than a predetermined frequency. A first interpolation section 12 interpolates the signal to be processed. A second operation section 13 performs a power series operation on an output signal of the first interpolation section 12 with respect to orders of terms generated by the power series operation on the signal to be processed whose operation result is higher than the predetermined frequency. A first removal section 14 removes frequency components exceeding the predetermined frequency from an output signal of the second operation section 13. A first decimation section 15 decimates an output signal of the first removal section 14 to the same sampling frequency as the signal to be processed.
