<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoelectric conversion element having an excellent open voltage (Voc) even with a reverse layer configuration in which drop in the fill factor is minimized using an inexpensive metal grid electrode when compared with prior art, and to provide an organic solar cell using it. <P>SOLUTION: The organic photoelectric conversion element includes a photoelectric conversion layer having at least a p-type semiconductor material and an n-type semiconductor material, and a charge transport layer between a first electrode consisting of a transparent electrode and a second electrode. The transparent electrode contains a conductive polymer, and the work function of the transparent electrode surface is shallower at least 0.5 eV than the highest occupied molecular orbital (HOMO) of the p-type semiconductor material contained in the photoelectric conversion layer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
