<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a diversity effect of channel estimation by a plurality of processing units. <P>SOLUTION: A receiver 1 of this invention includes a receiving unit 10 for receiving a radio signal, and an acquisition unit 30 for processing the radio signal received in the receiving unit 10 for each radio frame to acquire reception data. The acquisition unit 30 includes a plurality of processing units 31, 32 for performing channel estimation of the radio signal and, after the channel estimation, performing demodulation and decoding processes of the radio signal. When the processing of the radio signal can be made without using all of the plurality of processing units 31, 32, and the reception data acquired in the immediately preceding radio frame has an error, at least one processing unit 32 is allowed to perform the channel estimation of the radio signal using a channel estimation method being different from another processing unit 31. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
