<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure multiple physiological parameters noninvasively. <P>SOLUTION: A physiological sensor has light emitting sources, each activated by addressing at least one row and at least one column of an electrical grid. The light emitting sources transmit light having multiple wavelengths and a detector is responsive to the transmitted light after attenuation by body tissue. Another aspect of a physiological sensor is light emitting sources capable of transmitting light having multiple wavelengths. Each of the light emitting sources includes a first contact and a second contact. The first contacts of a first set of the light emitting sources are in communication with a first conductor, and the second contacts of a second set of the light emitting sources are in communication with a second conductor. The detector is capable of detecting the transmitted light attenuated by body tissue and outputting a signal indicative of at least one physiological parameter of the body tissue. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
