<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a crosslinked polymer, which can produce, inexpensively and on an industrial scale, the crosslinked polymer having a low specific volume resistance, a low permeability for hydrogen, oxygen and methanol, and a very good mechanical stability especially in an improved modulus, a high tensile strength and improved swelling properties, and capable of being used in fuel cells or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Especially preferred polymers are covalently and ionically crosslinked polymers obtained, for example, by sulfonic acid modification of polymers such as polyarylethers, polyarylthioethers, polysulfones, polyether ketones, polypyrroles, polythiophenes, polyazoles, phenylenes, polyphenylenevinylenes, polyanilines, polyazulenes, polycarbazoles, polypyrenes, polyindophenines and polyvinylpyridines, especially polyarylethers. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
